A façade folded to the daylight
A two-tower office complex whose façade folds to the sun's path, cutting the cooling load by 28%.
Place and climate
The design began with a year-long sun and wind study on site. The massing is oriented to shield the afternoon western sun while admitting low winter sun.
Materials
Local stone, light render and high-thermal-mass slabs store the night's coolness and release it during the day.
